I have been hard at work on a full length Skateboard tutorial video… This is the first part of the introduction to the video. I wanted to put it up for you guys as a preview for whats to come in 2012 and to get your feedback. This video will cover the basics of skateboarding and really get you started out the right way. After the release of this video I will be making more and more tutorial videos until I have covered every skateboard trick but I wanted to give you a solid base and an exact line to follow as you learn to skateboard to make it very easy for you to follow and learn. Learning to kickflip is easy you just have to get each step fully mastered before you go onto the next step. This video is a little guide that I made mostly to show you the timing between the step of slapping your tail on the ground and when your toe flicks off of the side of your board causing the kickflip rotation. A more fully detailed kickflip tutorial will be coming soon. If you want personal help with your kickflips then just comment. How to Ollie on a skateboard. Doing an ollie is one of the first and most essential steps to any other skateboard trick that you will learn in the future. Learn it good and well. This trick is not hard you just have to get down each step well before you move onto the next step and really getting the foot motion of lifting the board off the ground is key. Here are two how to ollie videos one with more explanation and one in slow motion to help you with the timing.
