CAMPAIGN FOR LITHE SKATEBOARDS -
Lithe Started with Mark and I building boards in the garage for ourselves and friends. We never owned a business or brand, so there was a lot of confusion and concern on how we can break our way into the industry. Without any capital to start with we felt crowdfunding was the way to get the funds and attention we needed.
We spent so much time into the design of the board, and getting our Indiegogo page ready, that we didn’t even think about how we could spread the word. We remembered Avenue Trucks who launched a few months before us, and we saw how popular their Braille videos were. This is when we decided to reach out to Braille for a video.
We timed the video to come out at the launch of our campaign. As soon as the video went live our analytics showed massive flow of users on our campaign page. Up to 200 visitors at a time. After our first video, we noticed our board was still popping up in other Braille videos. Even After a year with no new video because of manufacturing complications, we would still get comments, messages and customers saying they came from Braille.
Without Braille, its very likely we would have been overlooked, forgotten and not be in business today. We are Sure that Braille was a big part of the reason we are a sustaining business, and we will definitely have more videos with them to help our business grow further.
