BRAILLE SKATE SHOES

Well, we did it. FIRST TRY!

Designed by AK himself, we combined all of the best parts of Aaron’s favorite shoes into one ultimate skate shoe.

FIRST TRYYYYYY!

Please note: Please be advised that, due to the nature of dyed suede, you may experience a slight color bleed from materials when worn or upon rubbing when dry or wet.

DESIGN

Aaron Kyro was involved firsthand in every step of the design process, making sure to combine the best parts of all his favorite skate shoes.

Chosen for the classic silhouette, comfort, freedom of movement, and ease to wear – The Braille Skate Shoe was designed to be the perfect all-around skate shoe.

CONSTRUCTION:

We opted for a cupsole construction (vs. vulcanized) in order to improve the overall support and durability of the shoe.

The footbed used in the Braille shoe has been specifically developed to provide the wearer with an optimum level of comfort and support while also remaining lightweight and maintaining a good level of board feel.

The outsole, made from a rubber (SBR) compound, is commonly used in quality footwear to provide excellent grip, comfort, and durability resulting in a high-performance skate shoe.

MATERIALS:

The Upper is made of high-quality suede sourced from Spain to provide the classic skate look and feel. The tongue and collar of the shoe have been reinforced with a foam padding for extra comfort and foot support. The front part of the shoe (the vamp) uses a singular piece of suede which greatly increases the durability.

The laces are high-quality cotton which increases their longevity with little to no chance of snapping.

This shoe has a unique front toe bumper with a prominent texture for added grip while doing technical skate tricks.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN:
Portugal.

Sizing

Shoes are standard men’s sizes and fit true to size. Whole sizes only. Ladies! Sizing is easily converted over to women’s sizes by simply adding 1.5 to the US size. For example, a men’s size 7 is a women’s size 8.5.

Husband loves them!

I bought my husband a pair of the black/white ones in October and he really put them to the test. They are definitely worn, but there is still life left to them. He had originally had a famous skater's Nike shoes to replace his braille ones, but those ones hurt his feet so bad, that we went back to getting the braille shoes. I ended up buying him 2 more pairs. We got the grey/white ones and the black/honey ones. The colors are definitely darker than the picture shows. The honey color isn't as bright as the picture shows either, but they are still really nice. He said they seem a little bit narrower than his original black ones, but that they are still very comfortable.

Simple and sweet

These shoes are amazing, they do fit a little snug if you are in the half sizes but after wearing them in and skating in them they fit well to my feet. Great cushion.
