One of the key things a lot of people don’t do when they are learning how to skateboard is the simple action of just getting really comfortable riding around on their skateboard.

It is really important to put in a lot of hours just riding around on the skateboard and practicing balance, turning and overall comfort with the board.

Get used to having your skateboard with you. Skateboard to work. Skate to the store. Skate to school. The more you use your skateboard the better.

This first tutorial is all about getting started with skateboarding.

You will learn how to determine what foot should go in front in addition to basic balance and beginning turns.

Watch until the end and you will learn your very first basic skateboarding trick!
