Aaron Kyro was involved firsthand in every step of the design process, making sure to combine the best parts of all his favorite skate shoes.
Chosen for the classic silhouette, comfort, freedom of movement, and ease to wear – The Braille Skate Shoe was designed to be the perfect all-around skate shoe.
We opted for a cupsole construction (vs. vulcanized) in order to improve the overall support and durability of the shoe.
The footbed used in the Braille shoe has been specifically developed to provide the wearer with an optimum level of comfort and support while also remaining lightweight and maintaining a good level of board feel.
The outsole, made from a rubber (SBR) compound, is commonly used in quality footwear to provide excellent grip, comfort, and durability resulting in a high-performance skate shoe.
These limited edition black out shoes each comes with a signed card from Aaron Kyro himself.
The Upper is made of high-quality suede sourced from Spain to provide the classic skate look and feel. The tongue and collar of the shoe have been reinforced with a foam padding for extra comfort and foot support. The front part of the shoe (the vamp) uses a singular piece of suede which greatly increases the durability.
The laces are high-quality cotton which increases their longevity with little to no chance of snapping.
This shoe has a unique front toe bumper with a prominent texture for added grip while doing technical skate tricks.
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN:
Shoes are standard men’s sizes and fit true to size. Whole sizes only. Ladies! Sizing is easily converted over to women’s sizes by simply adding 1.5 to the US size. For example, a men’s size 7 is a women’s size 8.5.
I love these shoes these were my first skate shoes They make a perfect gift.
These are so much more comfortable than I thought they would be; and they look fantastic!! Worth every penny.
The shoe is a little tight but that's kinda good for skating but not for hanging out. The construction and materials seem amazing. The heal padding is just ok. The sole is square at the edge and I've needed to figure that out... I took a file to the edge and it's better. This is just shy of perfection. Super basic look stealth look.
Pros: Solid construction, great grip due to the massive amount of suede used (hence the next line of shoes using it more sparingly) and quality rubber sole, good combo of grip and hardness for durrability. killer style (shout out Aaron) and feet don't hurt after a day of skating
Cons: pdurability. At first if you have somewhat wide feet, initially very high arch support (my feet are pretty flat)
With the cons, suede stretches well and the insole gives quite a bit after the first couple of sessions so they became a LOT more comfortable very quickly.
Excellent style without compromise to function. We call that a win.
Thanks so much for the thorough review and feedback! We're glad you like 'em!! Keep skating and progressing :)
