First Try Braille Skate Shoes
BRAILLE SKATE SHOES
Well, we did it. FIRST TRY!
Designed by AK himself, we combined all of the best parts of Aaron’s favorite shoes into one ultimate skate shoe.
Please note: Please be advised that, due to the nature of dyed suede, you may experience a slight color bleed from materials when worn or upon rubbing when dry or wet.
Aaron Kyro was involved firsthand in every step of the design process, making sure to combine the best parts of all his favorite skate shoes.
Chosen for the classic silhouette, comfort, freedom of movement, and ease to wear – The Braille Skate Shoe was designed to be the perfect all-around skate shoe.
We opted for a cupsole construction (vs. vulcanized) in order to improve the overall support and durability of the shoe.
The footbed used in the Braille shoe has been specifically developed to provide the wearer with an optimum level of comfort and support while also remaining lightweight and maintaining a good level of board feel.
The outsole, made from a rubber (SBR) compound, is commonly used in quality footwear to provide excellent grip, comfort, and durability resulting in a high-performance skate shoe.
The Upper is made of high-quality suede sourced from Spain to provide the classic skate look and feel. The tongue and collar of the shoe have been reinforced with a foam padding for extra comfort and foot support. The front part of the shoe (the vamp) uses a singular piece of suede which greatly increases the durability.
The laces are high-quality cotton which increases their longevity with little to no chance of snapping.
This shoe has a unique front toe bumper with a prominent texture for added grip while doing technical skate tricks.
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN:
Shoes are standard men’s sizes and fit true to size. Whole sizes only. Ladies! Sizing is easily converted over to women’s sizes by simply adding 1.5 to the US size. For example, a men’s size 7 is a women’s size 8.5.
Took about an hour or so to break them in but now they’re my daily’s. I love the cushion inside and heel pocket, great support. Some of the stitching started to get undone bc of the way I flick so wasn’t too happy about that b it overall holding together every well. Would love to leave another review in a few months or until they get holes in them so we’ll see which comes first. Love you guys product. Love what y’all have done for the skate community. Braille is gonna be one of the big name brands for sure!!!
Any shoe I have bought from Braille feels like it's perfectly worn in right from the get go and they all look amazing. My two qualms are I would love it if you actually made wide sizes because I honestly need them or my outside toes get blisters and calluses. Also the paint/dye that you use for the shoes bleeds too easily no matter what color they are. The red ones I just bought had red dye already on the white strings which is no good. These will constantly stain my socks and skin too if I wear them long enough or sweat at all. Please consider another dying method or material perhaps.
I am trying to get the correct shoe size. I received a pair that are not correct. Please help i can update my review once helped

I really want to like these shoes. They look great but are way too narrow and does not fit to size. I wear 10.5 normally. I ordered a size 11 just in case. I live outside of the US and couldn't easily do a return or exchange without having to pay for the shipping.
