We are so excited to announce Braille non-abrasive grip!
Save your shoes. Save the world.

DKL Griptape won’t rip your shoes because its material is similar to the rubber found on ping pong paddles. Tested and proved legit alternative to sandpaper.

Instead of abrasion, we use concepts like molecular adhesion and the plow effect to achieve the same friction as sandpaper.

Dimensions: 33" x 9.25"

Instructions

How to apply:

  • 1. Cut with a razor not already dulled by sandpaper
  • 2. Trim the grip at a tapered angle
  • 3. Sand the edges down
  • *see also our “How To Apply” video

TIP #2: DKL Griptape works best if your shoes don’t already have giant holes in them since it’s designed to grip your shoe’s material.

TIP #3: For a good as new grip, simply wipe with a damp rag to clean.

Braille Non-Abrasive Griptape

I bought this grip to save a pair of shoes that I had recently bought, and I think that the bad things out wear the good things with this grip, first of all it’s great for not tearing up shoes and saving you from grip tape thumb, but here are the problems, first of all the grip is fine but after skating for like 10 minutes it’s gets slightly dirty and it is super slick, the edges of the grip start to peel up, and the last thing is that if you leave it in the sun for even a little bit it will form super huge bubbles in the grip, overall the cons weigh out the pros

Love it

It’s just as good as regular grip tape. Keep it up!

Why did I wait to try this?!

Skating for 20 years, finally tired of going through shoes. Saw some videos about non-abraisive grip, tried this on my new setup and did my own kickflip test. Really doesn't feel that much different. I would rub leftover sand paper grip on my "flick zone" anyway to sand it down, to me the non abraisive grip feels like I want it to anyway out the gate. Wish I would have not listened to all the haters at the park about non-abraisive grip and tried this stuff sooner, I won't be going back to sandpaper grip. Thanks, Braille! Good looks.
